We are delighted to announce our new recruit, Teck Tan, who has recently joined us as an Architectural Designer. Teck recently graduated from Glasgow School of Art, Mackintosh School of Architecture, and has experience of working in Malaysia & Kuala Lumpur. Teck’s final year thesis project was based in Berlin for an restoration of a WWII ruin (Franziskaner Klosterkirche). The repair idea comes from Japanese repair technique: Kintsugi, which restore the subject to what it was by adding a gold lacquer. Teck applied the idea of Kintsugi to his design by using narrative routes to represent the gold lacquer. Teck is particularly interested in restoration project and modern simplicity design. We are really looking forward to the skills he can add to the office.
