LBA was formed in 2012 by Lynsay who is the director of the practice. With over 12 years' architectural experience working on new build and historic developments across the UK and abroad, Lynsay has gained a vast knowledge and understanding of the construction and property industry. Having worked for a number of prestigious practices within Scotland, Lynsay’s experience extends from small commercial fit-outs to large-scale residential and mixed-use developments. Since forming LBA, the practice has gained a reputable name for outstanding architectural work on listed and historic buildings in conservation areas such as Well Court Hall in Edinburgh's dean Village.
As Managing Director, Lynsay oversees all aspects of the practice, from project running to business development. Since launching LBA, Lynsay has worked nationally and internationally on prestigious projects in Oslo, London, Los Angeles and Edinburgh. Due to the high level of professional and personal service that LBA brings, Lynsay has ongoing relationships with her clients, retaining business over the years.
In her spare time Lynsay is a dedicated member of a cross-fit gym and is usually found there at 6 am! Weekends are spent on long walks, enjoying the local countryside with her cocker spaniels Zuna and Nip, who are also the office dogs.
