Teck graduated in 2015 from the Glasgow School of Art after studying in Kuala Lumpur, Aberdeen and Glasgow. He has a passion for creating modern and minimal architecture and an interest in working with historic buildings. His final year thesis project was based in Berlin for the restoration of a WWII ruin- Franziskaner Klosterkirche. He is fascinated by the stories and memories behind historic buildings and creating minimal design to embrace the past. He is now largely involved in working with historic buildings and injecting new modern ideas into the proposal.
Teck had his Part I year out working experience in Malaysia. He worked on a number of design projects, including service apartments, condominium design, office/ retail and private housing. Shifting from mainly new build in Malaysia to working with existing buildings has giving him great opportunities to follow his passion.
In his spare time, Teck likes to cook and travel to Europe for short breaks. He also enjoys film photography. He is our in-house photographer, recording ongoing work in process and taking the final completion photos.
